Dear Friendz on the Dog Blog,
Hi! Also very merry Christmas Day and also we cannot dlog very much today becuz we are having to get ready to go to the Grand Humans where the food stuffs are very good! Thank you for the many outstanding letters we will be putting them on the Dog Blog just now we have to go to the festivities! Most of all, we also would like to say that LoLLy, who came from a shelter, is very Two Paws Up! that she is having Christmas with LuLu and the Humans, even if the Humans have many limitashons (like thinking it is raining cats and dogs when it is raining rain). And also LuLu is very glad 2. Love, Your PaLs, LuLu and LoLLy! |

Dear LuLu and Lolly, Wow we are happy to hear from you! We had to get some help from Dad with that pikture thing.
He just gave Mom a new laptop computer for Christmas - and DUH it is not Christmas yet, and DOUBLE DUH Mom has US for laptops! Sometimes we think our humans are not as smart as we are. We know it is not Christmas until we smell the turkey!
Another thing that does not make sense is, how can be be 'snowbirds'? We are Maltese! We do not have feathers and we cannot fly! But Mom and Dad say ... |

Dear Friendz on the Dog Blog,
As you may know, LoLLy would like to be a world famous journalist for her career! So we are very pleazed to announce that LoLLy has finished writing about her interview with Billie "Roger That" Maltese, who is a very outstanding doggy rescue story from Northcentral Rescue. Frankly we cannot think of a better time than Christmas to publish this, becuz Billie, his human, and the people at Northcentral Rescue are a real story of love, and also of really appresheating all the outstanding critters on this planet, no matter whether they are perfect or not.
So after you get up to date on important issues at the Dog Blog pleaz stop by LoLLy's Room to read this ground-breaking jurnalism! Love, Your PaLs, LuLu and LoLLy! |

Dear Friendz on the Dog Blog, we need to let you know that it is now offishally out of control with Sheba.
One fancy modern poem was unnerving enuff. But now we have received another! snow needs a bold move to get round block. Colder yet for my friend on leash. That's a poem, you say? Egsactly. But according to Sheba it is. For the record we have tried to be very supportive of Sheba's Modern Poetry (if you do not know what is going on see below for the whole story), but we would also ... |

Dear Friendz, this outstanding pikture is of Elmo, who is a DOG, which is relevint becuz of what happened. Here is the story.
OK so first we got a letter to the Dog Blog from Elmo's human, who said, "Hi! My dog is Elmo. And I tell you, he is part RABBIT." Needless to say all our ears popped up on our heads (math is not our strong suit but we each have 2 and we are pretty sure 2 plus another 2 is 79, so in other words, all 79 ears popped up on our heads). And then LuLu's eyes bulged so big LoLLy had to scream, "Oh My Dog LuLu don't let your eyeballs pop out of your head!" Frankly this was the worse case of brain short-cirkutry we had heard of in a human yet. Becuz while our Humans are very mentally challenged, as we have pointed out meny times on the Dog Blog, and while Daphne's human is very trubbled (see below, the whole indoor tree bizness) -- well, despite our familiarity with such situashons, we had yet to hear of a human who was so far gone she thought her dog was part rabbit. Needless to say we got on the phone with Elmo immediately. And this is how it went ... |

Dear Friendz,
Today here at the Dog Blog we received this poem from one of our most active Dloggers, Sheba. When we first got the email, we were like, Two Paws Up! It is Sheba! And then we read what she had written. Ode to Blowing Snow, by Sheba from Wisconsin
White stuff falling from the sky, lying on the ground. Wading through the drifts, snow scrapes the belly. Feels cool around me, blowing as I have buried my nose. The End Well as you can imagine, our negst reacshon was: Um, what? This is in the form of a poem but none of the words rime. Also, what is an ode, it sounds like something that smells bad. Concerned, we called Sheba, and here is how things went ... |

Dear Friendz, Today we have an important topic to diskuss on the Dog Blog.
Namely, it is that time of year again. If you are a human, you are like, "time of year?" What time of year?" and then looking at the ceiling and whistling and acting all innosint and stuff. But you can can it with the routine becuz we are onto you. If you are a canine, you are probably howling in agreement right now. That is right, we're talking about the human desire to put costumes on canines for the holidays, as our good friendz Sophie and Felix have agreed to demonstrate, despite the public humiliashon factor ... |

Dear Friendz,
Before you go on, pleaz note that the LuLu and LoLLy Dog Blog is supposed to be rated G, which stands for Good, and means it is appropreeit for the puppies to read. However the entry below, which is from our good friend Buckshot, who we also like to call Shot of Buck, anyway this entry includes some things that are rated PG, which stands for Partly Gruesum, which means that the puppies, baby hippos, junior giraffs, and so on, should not be reading this. However, one good thing is that Buckshot says we may need Special Ed. We would like more pack members! So who is this Special Ed and how can we go find him? Dear Lulu and Lolly, Buckshot here. Thank you so much for adding the invite to our party in the Dog Blog. [See below.] We wish you could come. I like small dogs ... |

Dear Friendz on the LuLu and LoLLy Dog Blog,
These piktures for the Dog Blog were sent to us from a friend who lives in a place called Maine. These piktures show the world's biggest Snow Human, and frankly, these piktures are some of the scariest things we have ever seen, and that is saying something, becuz we have been exposed to many frightening things, for egsample our Human trying to do yoga. Fortunately, we live in a place called Texas ("tex-iz") ... |
