Dear Friendz on the Dog Blog,

As you know, we have very trubbled and difkult lives mainly due to not being alllowed to eat the choklit and also that our Humans werk and thereby do not spend all the time with us that they should.

Well today we have to tell you why it is getting even werse.

See one of the bright spots in our livez is Barbee, who werks at the Huninz office, and she is very fun and nice and on the whole Two Paws UP! and also givez us the attenchon we deserve.

And frankly meny weekends we have sed, "Barbee pleez take us home with you! As our Huminz do not pay enuff attenchon to us like when they feed the evil skwirlz!"

And every weekend Barbee sez, "I would if I could, but I have cats, and I don't think it would werk out."

And then we do the "Gag Me" sign with our pawz and hang our heds and go home with our Huminz.

Well anyway, then today all of a suddin Barbee showed us this pikchur of herself with this PIG! that she was showing everybody at the offiss and she was all like look what happened to me this weekend!

And we were like -- Barbee no! You have betraid us! You sed we couldn't come home with u due to the catz but really you are hanging out with a pig WHEN YOU COULD HAVE BEEN HANGING OUT WITH US! And letting us lownge on your sofas!

And we barked, and barked, and barked this over and over until the Huninz sed, "LuLu! LoLLy! Quiet!"

And we were like, "Quiet? Who is Quiet? Is there somebody new named Quiet?" And we looked everywhere but could not find the new person or dog, we don't know which 1 it was, named Quiet.

And then Barbee started telling some lame story about how she was out walking this weekend and there was a pig on the loose and we are like, "OH SURE AND NEGST YOU WILL TELL US THAT YOU CAN FLY TO THE MOON."

And then the Huninz started yelling to Quiet again, but Quiet never showed up. And that is the end.

Today we want to tell you 2 things! First, click here for our outstanding free Easter card to send to your friendz!

And also there is a truly Two Paws UP! event that we red about in one of our truly favrit websites, Rescue in the Rock!

As you can see, the outstanding Angels Animal Care is having a truly awesome Easter Egg Hunt this weekend! And as you can also see, all the canines there wear truly outstanding Easter bonnitz.

And we are very ankshus to go to this Easter egg hunt so we are going to go make some bonnitz! Altho we have to tell you that we are worried about getting to the hunt, namely due to the facts that we live in Texas and the hunt is in Arkansas, which is very far away, namely that it is near Brazil, which is negst to Scotland, which is near Venus, which is on the other side of Frantz, and we are worried that even if we hitch a ride with the mailman we won't get there for a whole year!

Regardless we are going to make Easter bonnitz so that we will be ready! And this is how you make the bonnitz: you get a hat, and eggs, and spray paint, and nail polish, and make the eggs pretty colors and then put them on your hat!

Can dogs teach us about self-control? According to an article from Miller-McCune magazine, a recent canine experiment on willpower provides insight into how humans stay focused.

Although the whys and hows of self-control have been frequently pondered by and posed to procrastinators, overeaters and the rest of us who find it difficult to resist self-destructive impulses, it has rarely, if ever, been an issue for dogs.

A new study, published in Psychological Science, suggests that self-control, in both humans and animals, is related to blood glucose levels. Willpower — presumably a foreign concept to canines — turns out to be less a question of character and more one of biology.

The study confirms the notion that self-control is a limited resource, and one that can and does get depleted. It also suggests that the regulation of impulses is not "a uniquely human process."

A University of Kentucky research team led by psychologist Holly Miller conducted two experiments with groups of canines, observing how much persistence they exhibited when given a task.
